Continue your investigation into composition, color and brushwork in this intermediate course. Through a series of landscapes, still-lifes, and simple portraits you will learn how to effectively work with reference photos and develop a personal palette, Experiment with the various acrylic mediums and discover how to use layering, texture, light and shadow, highlights, reflections and transparencies in your paintings.
Pre-requisite: Intro to Acrylics

GoggleWorks Center for the Arts is a 145,000 square foot, five-story community arts center located in downtown Reading, Pennsylvania. The former safety goggle factory was reimagined into a thriving complex which includes seven large teaching studios, juried-in artist studios, exhibition galleries, classrooms, film theatre, and store.
