Instructor: Anne Mills
Experience Level: Beginner/Teen Friendly
Join artist Anne Mills and learn to cross stitch! In this beginner workshop, you’ll master cross-stitch basics and learn how to make your own pattern. Learn how to read and work from a cross stitch pattern chart while exploring what types of fabric, embroidery floss, needles, hoops and other tools are needed to cross stich like a pro. You’ll leave with the know-how to tackle more cross stitch projects on your own!
We'll be working from the Botany pattern by The Stitch Mill, Anne’s cross stitch design company. Cross stitch projects take many hours to finish, you will get started on the pattern in class and leave with the know-how to finish the entire project, as well as the ability to start making your own cross stitch designs.
All materials needed will be provided and are included in tuition, including pattern, fabric, embroidery floss, hoop, and needle.
